Timber regulation

The European Timber Regulation (EUTR) entered into force on March 3 2013, to prevent and combat the trade in illegal timber.

The declared goal of the Timber Regulation is to make Europe the first world market totally free of wood from forest management and illegal logging. Italy has designated the MIPAAF (Ministry of agricultural, food and forestry policies), which commissioned the State Forestry Corps for the checks that will be carried out to verify that the operators comply with the established requirements.

Pringraf has defined the operating procedures for compliance with Reg. 995/2010 and subsequent amendments, through the operating instruction "Timber Regulation", to guarantee the legality of the sources of supply and the prevention of illegal cuts.
