Pringraf operates in the field of packaging production, suitable for direct and indirect contact with food. For this reason we select the raw materials with the best performance in terms of reliability, low migration and low odor, in compliance with the different EU and non-EU regulations. Pringraf applies Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required by Reg CE 2023/2006. 

 

The application of these principles together with "risk assessment" dedicated to the various productions, allow us to produce products that comply with the main industry regulations, and in particular: 

• Italian Regulations DM 21/03/1973 and s.m.s 
• European Normative Reg CE 1935/2004 and s.m.s 
• American FDA (Food and Drug Administration) Regulations 
• Specific national regulations regarding compliance for food contact  

We support our customers in the choice of materials and technologies able to ensure compliance in the field of food safety, since we structured a Department of quality assurance and R&D able to assess the demands of the markets.

The FSC is an independent non-governmental, non-profit organization created to promote the responsible management of global forests. FSC certified products are independently certified to guarantee customers who come from forests managed in a way that respects the social, economic and environmental needs of current and future generations. The felled tree that comes out of the forest can be placed in two chains: wood and cellulose. In both cases, all the operators of these two chains (in the case of wood: e.g. sawmill, manufacturer of semi-finished products/components, manufacturer of finished products, trader, etc .; in the case of cellulose. E.g. producer of pulp, paper mill, typography, etc.) will have to implement a "Chain of Custody", or "Chain of Custody" within their organization. What does it mean? To sell certified products bearing the FSC logo, all the players in a given chain must have their own certified CoC themselves. Moreover, they have to buy cardboard, which is guaranteed by a supplier with its own certified CoC.

FSC certification is voluntary. All organizations that sell products as FSC certified, apply FSC labels to products, manipulate or transform FSC certified products are required to certify.

• Drawing up of a prerequisite program (PRP) for monitoring production environments, processes, products and all human resources; 
• Management of suppliers and raw materials used; 
• Management due to the application of a system based on HACCP hazard analysis and GMP management;
•  Implementation of a documented management system; 
• Strong proof of the commitment of management and leadership at all levels; 
• Effective application of good hygiene practices; 
• Continuous improvement through an audit.

Pringraf has joined BRC Packaging and obtained certification from an authoritative body that classified the company with the highest degree, thus certifying full compliance.

Since January 2013 Pringraf has obtained the "BRC Packaging for packaging and packaging materials" certification. Pringraf continues to improve production processes and the organization of work and the forces put in place for this purpose bear fruit.
