PRINGRAF IS THE WINNER AT “OSCAR DELLA STAMPA 2020"

The company wins in the Best Technology Innovator category

The Award was assigned by a jury of industry experts 


Pringraf wins at "Oscar della Stampa 2020" a prestigious award in its 29th edition. The prize rewards printing companies that continue to produce, innovate and gather around customers, suppliers and employees with commitment and tenacity. This is a recognition of the excellence of the printing industry in Italy.

 

Pringraf was voted in the Best Technology Innovator category by a jury composed of a panel of experts in the printing sector from the world of media, education, industry institutions, buyers and communication. Multiple parameters guide the selection, including the ethical profile, technological and structural investments, and attention to the environment .

 

This year the Award takes on even greater significance because it testifies to the existence of entrepreneurial realities, such as Pringraf, which, despite the difficulties, have proactively faced the crisis.

 

The Award is a recognition and confirmation of Pringraf vision, which will continue on the path already undertaken, always projected towards the future, a future that is written day after day. Pringraf shares this unexpected Oscar with the entire excellent team, the beating heart of the production activity and the strength of the company.

 

Pringraf thus enters by right into the "Club of Excellence" of the press in Italy . The Club sees as members all the winning companies of the Award from its foundation to today.



In the words of the jury, the motivation for the award: "Pringraf offers packaging solutions by combining the most varied printing and finishing techniques. Led by young management and inspired by modern and far-sighted choices such as the spin-off Packly, one of the first European companies in specific e-commerce for paper products, the company is constantly evolving and looking forward to new investments and installations that meet the growing demand for production."
 
The ceremony took place in live streaming on Friday 11 December 2020 and was preceded by the second edition of the Print Economic Forum, a moment of study on the future of the printing and converting sectors.

WINNERS AT THE PRO CARTON ECMA



Pringraf triumphs at the Pro Carton ECMA Award 2014 and is declared as winner for the Food category. The company - the only Italian one to be awarded in this edition - obtains one of the highest international honors in the packaging sector and reaches this important milestone with the 'Gelato Box' pack. 


The jury made up of well-known experts in the sector (coming from food companies such as Nestlé and Mars ) has rewarded the project presented by Pringraf that has been able to combine a brilliant structural solution and a very original creativity. Furthermore, the use of innovative finishing techniques such as laser cutting allowed us to create a decoration that lets glimpse the product inside the packaging, giving the box a very attractive look.

WINNERS AT THE LUXURY PACKAGING AWARD - LONDON


At the prestigious The Luxury Packaging Awards 2014 in London, Pringraf deserves the victory as the best packaging in the Luxury Food Pack category and above all gets the Best in Show award, that means the best packaging of the whole event. 


Gelato Box presented by Pringraf has come to dominate the Luxury Packaging Award 2014 by beating the competition of packs made by other players in the packaging industry for brands of international importance such as Marks & Spencer and Tesco. 


The motivations that led the jury - composed of established experts in the packaging industry who work for famous companies such as Procter & Gamble, Alliance Boots, Diageo and Marks and Spencer - to award the Pringraf prize were: the design "innovative and extraordinary" based on colors that emphasize simplicity and elegance, reflecting the quality of the product contained and the use of the latest technologies such as laser cutting, thanks to which it was possible to create an elaborate decoration. 


The other reasons that have convinced the jurors to choose Gelato Box as the winning pack were: "the incredible presentation of the product that offers the packaging once it has been opened", the appearance of a pack 'suitable for all occasions' that can be easily transported and the "green" aspect of packaging that respects the environment, as 100% recyclable . The pack has the triple function of protecting, transporting (thanks to the built-in handle) and offering the product as a gift without being inserted into another package.

At the Café de Paris in London, Pringraf achieved another success in a packaging competition: The Solution Awards 2014. Pringraf obtains a new success with the Gelato Box pack, this time the victory in the Environment category underlines the environmental sustainability of the packaging presented in the competition.
